A Riesling 1999 grand cru Schlossberg, cuvee Sainte Catherine, from Weinbach Faller’s Domaine in Kaysesberg was served with the main course for the celebration of Queen Elisabeth’s 80 th birthday last Wednesday.
For this occasion, the queen has invited 99 elders born, like her, the 21 april 1926 to enjoy those festivities. Riesling wine was much appreciated.
“It’s an honour and a great reward. We’re always trying to reach excellence” said Catherine Faller, one of the Domain’s winegrower.
For over 8 years now, they have been growing bio dynamic wines, followed by more and more wine fellows.
