History
Occupied at all the times since the Neolithic era, Hattstatt appears in the 12th century, under " Hadestat ".
Cradle of the lords of Hattstatt, who had there a first castle, before building a second on a summit called " Hoh Hattstatt " , West of the village in 1282.
Fortified as of the middle of the 15th century.
The vine growing enriches the village as of the 16th century.
Sightseeing
Ancient village, Hattstatt was the object of many searches and excavations which made it possible to discover Neolithic and prehistoric lucky finds.
A Roman villa, remnants of pipe work and Roman roadway were also discovered there.
Borough with beautiful houses of Renaissance style.
The city hall dates from the beginning of the 16th century.
Vestiges of " Hoh Hattstatt " castle, or what remains of it there are insignificant.
The church Holy Dove of 12th to the 15th century with its hall and nave novels of the 11th century, its Gothic choir of the 15th century, its furniture of the 18th century.
