History
In 758, the count Ruthard made donation of the majority of his lands to the abbey of Schwarzach (Provinces of Baden, Germany).
Sightseeing
One still finds there underground galleries, perhaps dating from the Gallo-Roman time...
Also remain Merovingian graves ; weapons and jewels have been found there.
A beautiful old house, at number 29, on the " Route des Vins ".
At the top of the hill the ruins of an old tower overlook the village.
The church with its Roman bell-tower, its Gothic choir dating from the 16th century, with the nave of 1843.
